Exploring the transforming power of LOVE

Mark  12:

30. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Love is the most powerful force on earth today. As a matter of fact, we'll never know how easy life could be, until we're able to tap deep into the virtue of love.

God is not healing, power, deliverance or any of the Christian manifestations we know, but scriptures say, for God is LOVE.

1 John  4

7. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Love defines HIS actual nature of God, and most interestingly, since God cannot fail, so also, love cannot fail.

What then is LOVE in this context?

Simply put; love is deep affection for God and your fellow man.
Some of us are okay with loving God only, but our love for Him is actually validated by our love for our fellow man.

If you love God, you will know; it will be evident in everything you do.
Sit down and check your life priorities, then you will be able to tell if you love God or not.

And as much as you love God, love PEOPLE!
Remember what Saint John said;

If you say you love God but hate one another, the Bible calls you a liar...
THIS is the conclusion therefore;

1 John  4:20

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

#How does LOVE transform a believer?

This is so simple and straightforward;
When we LOVE, the rest of the fruits of the Spirit easily develops in US.
If you check closely, anybody finding it difficult to be patient with God or his or her neighbour also finds it difficult to walk in love.
Think about it, it's so TRUE.
When we walk in Love, every other thing falls into place.

Galatians  5:

 22. But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.*

The VIRTUE of love has a way of cultivating the other Christian virtues
Thus love is central to the fruits of the Spirit in so many ways

In Summary;

 Love God and Love people, then everything else will be well with you.
